Ultrasound

Ultrasound uses sound waves transmitted into the body to create images that show the architecture of an organ.

Ultrasound allows us to differentiate between fluid from soft tissue masses or foreign bodies.

This makes it helpful in the diagnosis of hemoabdomen and pericardial effusion (blood in the abdomen or around the heart).

When a pet has a tumor or has ingested something it shouldn’t have, an ultrasound can also helps us locate and characterize the object.

Hands Free X-Rays

We pride ourselves on creating a fear free environment for your pet. Our hands free x-ray techniques reduces the stress your pet may feel when having full body x-rays taken.

Hands free x-rays allow us to capture the images faster, reduce the amount of time your pet and our team are in the x-ray room, and allows us to provide a safe and relaxed experience.

Digital X-Rays

We are proud to provide our clients and their pets with digital radiography for both full body x-rays and dental x-rays.

This technology allows us to get extremely high quality images of your pet, which in turn helps us provide a quicker and more accurate diagnosis for their health status.

X-rays provide important information on your pet’s:

    • bones
    • gastrointestinal tract (stomach, intestines, colon)
    • respiratory tract (lungs)
    • heart
    • genitourinary system (urinary bladder and prostate)
